In a world where parenting approaches abound, the pressure on parents to “get it right” has never been higher. I have found that there is no one size fits all. Rather, individuals and relationships need to be supported uniquely, case by case. This is where clinical expertise becomes helpful.
My approach to developmental and or mental health concerns with children and adolescents is to work with parents directly.
I offer parent coaching sessions to address their child’s symptoms and behaviors. In these sessions I provide psycho-education and attachment strengthening approaches.
Together we will navigate developmental changes and challenging behaviors while nurturing your connection and attachment to your child.

After working with children and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings for several years my approach to treatment has shifted to primarily working with parents directly.
Parents are often in need of tools and strategies but are already equipped to be the primary adult support and leadership in their child’s journey towards health and stability.
In these sessions we will explore your parenting worries, working together towards research based solutions that also align with your family’s lifestyle and values.
We will explore where your child is developmentally and what can be expected of them.
We will unpack ways to deepen attachment and strengthen your relationship with your child while creating healthy boundaries for you both.
